Product Description

(1) - Can of Pro Seal XL4 (Same as Easy Seal, just has different label) - 1.5 to 5 Ton Systems - AC Stop Leak  - Sealant formula was developed by NASA for critical systems such as space flights, submarines, ect. - Compatible will all oils (Mineral, POE, Pag, ect.) and most refrigerants but not recommended for  410A. Will seal most small leaks in Air conditioning systems. Made in the USA by Envirosafe. Recommended to put in two cans in older systems with large leaks with good results (95 to 99% success rate). Tap can then purge hose or purge hose by slightly loosening can from tap can fitting, then tap can, add to running system on the low side, run system for 1 hour. If low side pressure is higher than 65 psi, you can heat the can with a heat gun/hair dryer/hot water and sealant will flow into the system at the higher pressure.

It is recommended to use Pro Dry or Pro Dry XL4 if moisture is suspected in the system before using Pro Seal XL4.

Please note: I usually add a can of Pro Dry or Pro Dry Xl4 to the system just in case there is any air or moisture present in the AC system. Air and moisture are the enemy of all AC/Refrigeration systems and will prevent the system from cooling properly and may ultimately cause damage to the compressor.

This 3 oz. can of Pro Seal XL4 adds about 7.5 oz. (1 oz. = 2.5 oz.) of refrigerant to the system along with about an 1/8 oz. liquid sealant.

A tap can hose with a 1/4" SAE fitting is needed to install Pro Seal XL4.

Instructions: Attach tap can hose to low side of running system, turn can (not tap handle) slightly CCW for a few seconds to remove any atmospheric air from the tap can hose between the can and the tap hose attachment, while holding can upside down, turn tap can hose handle CW as far as possible then CCW until it stops turning, stop leak and refrigerant should now go into the AC system. If not use a heat gun/hair dryer/hot water to heat can but do not overheat due to contents being under pressure. If the stop leak still does not go into the system you may have a faulty valve core or core depressor on the end of your tap can hose. Allow system to run for 1 hr. If leak still persists, add another can of Pro Seal XL4.

Same identical product and manufacturer as Easy Seal but has different label. Easy Seal sells for about 50.00 to 55.00 + tax retail.
