Envirosafe R290 Refrigerant - Drop In Replacement for R22 in Europe, Australia, ect. - EPA approved for refrigerators, coolers, ect. that are designed for R-290. Not for Use in Residential Systems in the USA - 50 LB Cylinder (Requires only 40% of name plate charge, a 10lb system would need only 4 lbs of R290) 50 lb cylinder therefore has 20 lbs of refrigerant. Will drop vent temperatures by 2-3 degrees, lower head pressure, lower amp draw thus saving on AC electrical bill. R290 is not a blend, so can be topped off like R22. MO99, 407C, ect. are blends (mostly 134a) and separate when a system has a leak and should not be topped off and system will not cool correctly unless all the refrigerant is recovered and completely refilled. R290 will work with all oils and replace most refrigerants including R502 and 404A.
